Musician Roger Waters, who appeared on the Joe Rogan Experience podcast last week, is a powerful advocate for the BDS Movement (Boycott, Divest and Sanction). BDS is intended to eradicate the state of Israel by strangling it economically.
Raised in a far left household, Waters appears to have many misconceptions about the Jewish people and Israel. Given the reach of the JRE podcast, it is imperative to share the truth.
What really happened in the Middle East?
I hope Mr. Rogan could someday offer a similar forum to a prominent BDS opponent.
Thanks to The Terrorism Awareness Project.
This information is not new, it is available to anyone who cares to look for the truth of the middle east situation, from many sources.
I guess Roger Waters (and many others) have never bothered to look.
Neo-Assyrian Empire under Tiglath-Pileser III. First Babylonian Empire under Sargon II. Neo-Babylonian Empire under Nebuchadnezzar. Seleucid Greeks under Antiochus. Romans under Titus and later, under Hadrian. More recently, Islam under various caliphs. They all conquered and occupied the Holy Land and tried, to greater or lesser degree to rid the land of its original, God-ordained inhabitants, the descendants of Abraham, or at least replace them. Yet, the Jews persist and today, fill the land of their ancestors while all of their erstwhile conquerors have faded into the historic past, leaving only assorted Arabs as contemporary adversaries. As someone else wittily remarked, "How odd of God to choose the Jews." But it does seem that He has chosen them.
