November 29, 2018: FBI Raids Clinton Foundation Whistleblower

In a move that seemed designed to send a message about the consequences of cooperating with congressional investigations into Clinton-related matters, the FBI raided the home of Dennis Nathan Cain, a whistleblower who had provided documents to congressional investigators regarding the Clinton Foundation and the Uranium One deal.

Cain was a former FBI contractor who had legally provided documents to the DOJ Inspector General and to congressional committees investigating potential criminality related to the Clinton Foundation.

Despite having followed proper whistleblower procedures and despite having legal authorization to possess the documents, 16 FBI agents raided Cain’s home, spending six hours searching the premises.

The Daily Caller reported: “The FBI raided the home of a whistleblower who was in possession of documents regarding the Clinton Foundation and Uranium One, according to the whistleblower’s lawyer... The whistleblower, Dennis Nathan Cain, had turned the documents over to the Department of Justice Inspector General Michael Horowitz and both the House and Senate Intelligence committees.”

Cain’s lawyer stated that the raid was “a shocking use of FBI power” against someone who had “followed the lawful process for whistleblowing.”

The message was clear: cooperating with congressional investigations into the Clintons could have serious consequences, even if you followed the law.

The raid on Cain came just days after Comey had defied his congressional subpoena, and just weeks after the Democrats had won the House.

The timing suggested a coordinated effort to shut down the investigations before Democrats could take control and kill them officially.

And it worked. By January 2019, when Democrats took control of the House, the investigations into FBI misconduct, FISA abuse, the Clinton Foundation, and Uranium One would all end.

The committees would shift their focus entirely to investigating Trump: his finances, his business dealings, his tax returns, his family, his administration.

The two-year window for accountability was closing. And those who had abused their power, lied to courts, deceived Congress, and weaponized the intelligence and law enforcement apparatus against a political opponent were on the verge of escaping consequences entirely.

December 6, 2018: Clinton Foundation Whistleblower Evidence

While the focus remained on the Russia investigation, another bombshell emerged regarding the Clinton Foundation.
