Lisa Page’s three-day interview with DOJ and FBI officials marked her transition from criminal participant to cooperating witness. The operation began its collapse.
After the texts became public, Page understood that Inspector General investigation would expose her coordination with Strzok in manufacturing evidence, coordinating media leaks and other skullduggery.
“Page is talking,” an FBI supervisor told his colleague after her interview.
“What is she saying?” came the reply.
“Some historic shit,” he answered.
Her cooperation marked the beginning of the surveillance state’s collapse. Some participants were prioritizing survival.
