Although I certainly applaud the exposure of this diabolical program, here's one big problem with a specific piece of this critique, and critiques of Marxism in general: Relativism is *not* (fully) a distortion, but is in fact a necessary "inconvenient truth" (if you will pardon my quoting Al Gore). The core problem is that no human nor group of humans can finalize truth, because literally everything "known" that is external to the conscious mind is composed only of perception and thinking.
One could say there are essentially two major levels to knowledge: One, the everyday level, in which sane, reasonably intelligent, reasonably educated adults all agree on a large number of "truths" based on common experience, such as that the sun rises in the east, that iron rusts on exposure to water and air, that drinking alcohol changes perceptions, etc. ad infinitum. But then there is the absolute level, where we encounter the opposite, that nothing is truly known. It is at this level that we went, both positively and normatively, from Newtonian to 20th century physics, why respectable doctors stopped bleeding people a couple hundred years ago, why the Catholic Church lost its monopoly on knowledge in general after about 1200 years, how we got the US Declaration of Independence and Constitution to substitute for monarchy. But it will never end, because it cannot ever end. That's because, at root, it is ALL *belief*, and beliefs can go, well... anywhere.
Thus, it is why -- following Enlightenment awareness of this fact -- democracy is today a thing, why science is open and never comes to a conclusion, why adversarial justice was established, as well as many other modern norms for pursuing an understanding of reality and for human cooperation. To think otherwise is to abandon acknowledgment of human limitations, and subscribe to a religion, that is, absolutes, such as those in Christianity or Marxism.
What Marxism did was take malevolent advantage of this human Achilles' heel, the impossibility of ever nailing down knowledge permanently. And that's precisely how they are able to get away with implanting the most ridiculous beliefs -- even among Western intellectuals. Once the stage is set for manipulating perception without awareness, without limit, without critique, almost any beliefs can, eventually, result. Truths don't simply all spring naturally from an "uncorrupted" human mind, no matter how strong the illusions otherwise.
This problem will always exist for humans. So, it's not Marxism per se, it's our lack of any effective control over intelligent psychopaths/sociopaths. They will game (and have gamed) any system -- theocracy, socialism, and yes, capitalism -- to this effect. Marxist totalitarianism is just one of the easier ones with which to accomplish this.
Bezmenov is a fake! He was NOT in the KGB. He was NOT involved in any sort of operations. He was an actual journalist for TASS--the Soviet news agency. TASS journalists came into contact with the KGB--whose actual espionage officers were running actual espionage operations against the USA.

I would assert that demoralisation is inverting now. I would say 2015 (Trump and Brexit) but earlier around 2012 saw a significant retaliation beginning. Brexit and Trump were symbols of this new inversion. So as this new demoralisation continues (against DEI ideology, mass immigration and radical feminism and misogyny - Andrew Tate types are not looking good) I look forward to seeing the outcome. We have had ten significant years so far. A couple of generations yet to go. Economic collapse is expected ( hard times create strong men), which likely will see the economic migrants follow the money - especially as demoralisation of them increases (unbeknownst to them, they are used for slave wage and political pawns). After WWI and WWII, we saw migration here to help build infrastructure etc. Well, as those migrants learned those skills here, they can and likely will take those skills to war torn countries to rebuild them.
