2. Dismantling all deterrents at the border — MPP and Title 42. “Remain in Mexico” was a policy that forced asylum seekers to wait south of the Rio Grande. It was nuked from orbit. Title 42, the COVID-era expulsion tool that at least gave agents a fast turnaround was obliterated a few months later. The practical effect? Anyone who set foot on U.S. ground could stay.
3. The mass humanitarian parole scheme (CHNV and friends). Somewhere around 530,000 people from Cuba, Haiti, Nicaragua, and Venezuela — including known felons in their home countries — were flown or waved in under a “parole” authority Congress never authorized. Add the CBP One app appointments and you have a shadow immigration system created with memos, not laws.
4. Gutting interior immigration enforcement. ICE was basically told that if illegal aliens haven’t been convicted of serious crimes yet, they could be ignored. Millions of people got the message: immigration laws had been repealed.
5. Killing Keystone XL and freezing federal energy production. Day One killed the pipeline. The same executive orders froze new oil and gas leasing on public lands and canceled Arctic leases. I’ll be fair — Keystone alone didn’t trigger $5 gas. But the signal to every energy investor in the country was clear: American energy production was not welcome. Democrat officials then flew to Saudi Arabia and Venezuela to beg them to pump more. If a foreign adversary had written that policy, we’d call it sabotage. Come to think of it, most Democrat policies seem to fall into that genre.
6. Draining the Strategic Petroleum Reserve for political cover. 180 million barrels — the largest release in U.S. history — pushed out ahead of the 2022 midterms. The SPR is supposed to be there for a war or a hurricane, not for a bad polling week. Inventories fell to levels not seen since the early 1980s.
7. The January 2024 LNG export pause. With Europe still bleeding from the Russian gas cutoff and allies begging us for cargoes, Washington told them to wait while a “climate study” got done. A federal judge eventually threw the pause out. This wasn’t climate policy — it was picking a fight with the U.S. energy industry and our friends overseas at the same time.
8. Forcing an EV transition the market rejected. EPA and NHTSA wrote emissions rules that would force the manufacture of mostly EVs by the early 2030s. Then Congress layered on $7,500 buyer credits and a $27 billion “Greenhouse Gas Reduction Fund” handed to specially-selected nonprofits. The result: I paid more taxes on my 2015 F-150 paid taxes so that wealthier households could get a discount on a second car they were buying anyways.
9. The post-election DOE loan fire sale. After voters had already spoken in November 2024, the Loan Programs Office rushed out roughly $93 billion — including nearly $42 billion in the final two working days of January 2025 — over an Inspector General’s warning. That’s not a peaceful transfer of power: it’s theft of taxpayer funds.
10. The Afghanistan debacle — Bagram, Abbey Gate, and the $7 billion arsenal. We handed the Taliban a functioning air base in the middle of the night, then ran the entire evacuation through a civilian airport in a city about to fall. Thirteen American service members were killed at Abbey Gate. Roughly $7 billion in U.S. military equipment — night-vision, rifles, Humvees, helicopters — was left for the very enemy we spent 20 years fighting. Some of that gear has since turned up in the hands of other terrorists. You’d be hard-pressed to identify a more disgusting military debacle in U.S. history.
11. The military COVID vaccine mandate and forced separations. Roughly 8,400 service members were involuntarily discharged in the middle of a recruiting crisis, with thousands more refused reenlistment. Trained warfighters were dumped for a virus that posed virtually no risk to a healthy 22-year-old.
12. Turning DoD and the VA into a laboratory for gender policy. Ending the transgender service ban, expanding gender-related surgeries and hormones through military and veteran medicine are not war-readiness decisions. They are woke experiments performed on the institution that is supposed to win wars, nothing more. When you tell a farm kid from Ohio thinking about enlisting that the priorities of his future command include paid trans-surgeries, you should not be surprised when he goes to work at the auto plant instead.
13. DEI and identity-month were the priorities inside the Pentagon during a shocking recruiting collapse. The Army was missing its FY2023 goal by roughly 41,000 recruits, so a senior DoD appointee was emailing the White House pushing Transgender Day of Visibility and Pride Month rollouts, insisting she “simply cannot sit this year out.” The DOD had one job. It was not transgender surgery.
14. The OSHA “vaccinate or test” mandate for every private employer over 100 workers. SCOTUS struck it down, correctly, as far outside OSHA’s authority. But the fact that it was even attempted — an effort to coerce tens of millions of American workers to take the Fauci shot through their employers — shows how sick these people are.
15. The 2024 Title IX rewrite. XX and XY chromosomes, as understood throughout all of human history, were “redefined” by federal regulation. Girls’ locker rooms, women’s sports, and due-process protections for students were all put on the chopping block. Multiple federal courts blocked it and eventually it was vacated nationwide.
16. The $1.9 trillion American Rescue Plan. Passed in March 2021, after the vaccines were already rolling out, after the economy was already rebounding, and against warnings from serious Democratic economists like Larry Summers that it would light an inflation fire. It did. Inflation hit 9.1% in June 2022.
17. Serial student-loan “forgiveness” schemes. The Supreme Court struck down the mass-cancellation plan in Biden v. Nebraska. So the administration just tried again through a game of legal whack-a-mole to transfer debt from people who chose an expensive degree onto the backs of the electrician, the trucker, and the waitress who did not.
18. Executive Order 13985 and the “whole-of-government equity” apparatus. Every agency was directed to bake DEI/racial-equity analysis into everything it does — grants, contracts, hiring, enforcement. Which is the complete opposite of Dr. Martin Luther King’s vision: a color-blind government.
19. Rejoining Paris and the WHO while depending on the Chinese Communist Party for the “green” transition.
We crushed our own economy in the name of climate, then let Beijing dominate the batteries, solar panels, and critical minerals the whole plan required. While China remained the world’s biggest polluter by a massive margin. Again, what would an enemy do differently than the “Biden” administration?
20. Gaslighting: the worst part was the pretending that none of this was happening. Grocery inflation was “transitory.” The border was “secure.” Afghanistan was an “extraordinary success.” Concerns about the President’s cognitive state were “cheap fakes.” A country can survive bad policies. It has a much harder time surviving leaders who lie as easily as they breathe.
Consider this a warning. Democrats do not have Americans’ best interests in mind. Their constituency is everyone except for American citizens.
Should Democrats ever return to power, things will get much, much worse.
