How Nikki Floris Read an ODNI Script to Frame Two U.S. Senators
On August 12, 2026, the White House Government Transparency Task Force dropped a bombshell. Newly declassified documents show the FBI ran a secret operation called “Round River.”
Its scope is stunning. Round River appears to be nothing less than a seditious coup to overthrow the United States government. As a public service for New York Times readers, I directed summer intern Biff Spackle to turn this insane but true crime story into a graphic novel. Enjoy, share and subscribe. There’s more coming.
Operation Round River isn’t some crazy conspiracy theory. We have the paper trail. The FBI’s own documents confirm a small team of analysts inside the Foreign Influence Task Force (FITF) took years of evidence about Biden family corruption in Ukraine and said it was… you guessed it… Russian propaganda.
They knew it was true. But they branded the senators investigating it as foreign agents. They fed the same bullshit to our Tech Overlords at Google, Meta and company to bury the laptop scandal before Election Day 2020.
So the real question isn’t whether Round River happened. I have other questions. Given potential crimes of:
Falsification of federal records / false statements (18 U.S.C. § 1001 and related statutes) - a felony.
Obstruction of justice / conspiracy to obstruct (18 U.S.C. §§ 1503, 1512, 371).
Conspiracy against rights / deprivation of rights under color of law (18 U.S.C. §§ 241, 242).
Abuse of official position / official misconduct (and potential Hatch Act violations; senior officials such as Nikki Floris (who oversaw FITF operations and delivered the August 6, 2020 briefing) and Brian Auten (who opened the formal assessment) are central figures. The “shadow government” language by Floris further highlights the likelihood of unauthorized, politically driven crimes.
Election-related interference (various provisions under Title 52 and related statutes).
…where’s Chris Wray hiding? In a bunker with Nikki Floris and Brian Auten? And — most importantly — where are the indictments?
